Rin Toosaka and Luviagelita Edelfelt are members of Mage’s Association and both of them are given an important task to find and retrieve the seven “Class Cards”. The Claas Cards are artifacts containing the life essence of legendary Heroic Spirits. As the mission given to the two members of Mage’s Association, they also gave the power of Ruby and Sapphire a two Kaleido Sticks that would enable them to transform themselves as a magical girl and increase their magical and physical abilities as they retrieve the Class Cards. The one big problem is that the two mage Rin and Luviagelita or Luvia for short are not on good terms and the Kaleido Sticks decide to abandon them in search of a new master. 

As the Kaleido Sticks start to look for a new master, the two mages continue their fight. The Kaleido Sticks found two young school girls Illyasviel von Einzbern for Ruby and Miyu for Sapphire as the two Kaleido Sticks convince them to easily start to form a contract as a new master. With the new found powers and responsibilities Illya and Miyu start to collect all the Class Cards. Because the two Kaleido Sticks abandon them so as to be masters, Rin and Luvia decide to mentor the new masters of the Kaleido Sticks as they stay on their mission to collect all the Class Cards.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya story focuses on Illyasviel von Einzbern and Miyu as a new master of Kaleido Sticks, when Ruby and Sapphire suddenly decided to abandon the previous master Rin Toosaka and Luviagelita Edelfelt because of the two not always on good terms in short, they always fight. Ruby and Sapphire choose a new master not just to give them a new found power but also a responsibility to use it to search and retrieve the Class Cards, the original mission for Rin and Luvia in first place, as Ruby choose Illya as a new magical girl and Sapphire choose Miyu, the former master decides to mentor the new found master to continue the mission that they must the one who’s doing it.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is produced by SILVER LINK. they did a good job for its anime series adaptation from a manga story. Smooth battle as the magical girls fight not just to retrieve the Class Cards but to protect themselves is much amazing and great battle as what you always want to see in Fate series the magical effects are good on the first and stayed in the story flow. Character design is a bit different from the main Fate story line but as they tackle a different timeline and mission a new alternative version is born. For the music choice the opening song a promising start as Illya became a magical girl as what she really dreams and became a reality when Ruby appears in front of her, and ending song consist of two songs the first one is how things go smooth sail as they start to retrieve the Class Cards a priority mission and the second ending a bit emotional reflection for what happened in the certain episode.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya deserves a good anime recommendation in terms of a good alter story that focuses on different types of Fate series and Illya is the main character with Rin, Luvia and Miyu. Anime or manga? First of all, the announcement of a new Fate series made me decide to read the manga story which is good and sticks to the different style but a Type Moon story includes a good story to enjoy. For the anime which is so great because SILVER LINK. did a good job for its anime battle scenes which is amazing and one episode hard to forget because of a great scene that I really enjoyed most. Is Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya an underrated anime series? Nope, not at all in terms of this anime series a fair and good grade as it shows how good and smooth the battle scenes even do it looks like a magic girl but with a different twist, for some it looks familiar but as a Fate series it’s hard to question the whole story but as you start to watch till the end a satisfaction anime series enjoyed because of a good battle sequence. Is this part of the original Fate/stay night? Nope, not at all as they use the Fate/stay night as a base story and it’s a different timeline of the Fate where Illya became a magical girl as a new master, even there are some familiar characters involved but a different set story at the same time. Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya a different timeline of Fate series but a story where Illya became a magical girl where she gained a new power and responsibility at the same time, and Illya shows that she can fight a real battle to protect the people around her.
