Fate/stay night is one of the Fate series and this is where the Fate series starts to have its name in animation or the brand of Fate. Fate/stay night is an original visual novel h game created by TYPE-MOON, and has a deep story to tell about the master and servant and a lot of magic involved. Fate/stay night is one of the popular visual novel H games from Japan and has 3 different arc stories or should I say 3 routes to choose but everything will start at the Fate story. The anime of Fate/stay night can be confusing if you don’t play the game at all but nothing to lose if you just watch it from the start.
Fate/stay night anime is directed by Yuji Yamaguchi. Most of the setting or the story is still based on the Fate route, where everything begins. Opening song of “disillusion” and “Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni” were both performed by Tainaka Sachi. The ending song of “Anata ga Ita Mori” and “Hikari” were both performed by Jyukai. Fate/stay night produced by Studio Deen.
Fate route mostly about Shiro and servant class Saber. One blazing night of inferno kills the family of Shiro in an unexplained source and is saved by Kiritsugu Emiya. After the tragedy happened Kiristugu adopted Shiro and taught him the values of hero of justice and magic. After Kiritsugu’s death, one night while Shiro is cleaning at school encounters a two supernatural people who are also called servants in the midst of the battle, Shiro has been caught while escaping one of the servants caught him and receives a life-threatening injury.
Miraculously Shiro survived the injury he got from the servant who stabbed him, Shiro ran home after but the same servant hunted him down to finish what he started to kill Shiro because he witnessed something that he must not see. Shiro summons a servant without knowing anything about summoning terms and conditions, a servant appears in his front a knight armored called Saber. Saber protects Shiro by fighting against the servant who tries to kill him again. Shiro decides to join in the 5th holy grail war, where the master will have a servant to fight for them to win the holy grail where you can make a wish to be granted when you win.
Fate/stay night is one of the great stories of the Fate series but some called it the Fate universe because of the titles under the Fate series involved, the strong point of the story is creating a lot of different routes for one timeline a confusing if you didn’t play the visual novel game. Most of the description is explained at the anime series but the deeper meaning behind stays at the visual novel game. In terms of the adaptation the story is good enough and everything starts in this series. It was a big momentum for TYPE-MOON and Fate for a series to be well-known to everyone.
In terms of animation a good story and everyone expects a great one, something you don’t see in visual novels but you can see in anime. The battle scenes where I just read the text and try to visualize in this anime, I can see the intense battle they had, a lot to choose for to enjoy. There are some scenes where you wish the battle was missing a bit of action as the story goes, but remembering the servant class it makes you realize that this is how they fight a battle. For music sound effects, the clash sounds and power cast it feels the power strength of the character in battle.
Fate/stay night deserves a big recommendation, if you are looking for some magic with some supernatural and action battle scenes and a bit of romance, this anime is for you. In terms of story Fate/stay night have 3 different routes and this is the first route and it’s called Fate. It’s one of the successful and made a name for Fate franchise until now they are still well known, in terms of story lines and a lot of titles to choose where to start. For the visual novel, it’s Japanese original and there’s a fan made translation to English so that you can play for free.
