Strike the Blood (book series)

Kojou Akatsuki is an ordinary high school student at Demon District of Itogami Island. One day Kojou ordinary days become different in one encounter that change his whole being from normal days to a special day that he won’t forget, he met a vampire an encounter that leaves him something he didn’t wish or ask at all. The vampire Kojou encounter leaves him a remarkable ability that is far from ordinary human a new vampire or also known as the fourth primogenitor who inherits ability from an immensely powerful vampire who considers it as merely a legend or old urban story around.

Kojou became a center of attraction for strong people he didn't really know because he became the fourth primogenitor. Fearing Kojou's new strength and power the Lion King Organization sent an apprentice sword-shaman named Yukina Himeragi who will monitor all Kojou daily tasks. If Kojou becomes a threat in the future Yukina mission is to stop and kill Kojou even if he is the most powerful vampire. The two of them are forced because of the circumstance of an unlikely alliance as Kojou decides to use his ability to protect the city from various emerging chaotic forces.

Strike the Blood in terms of story the whole season covers volume 1 to 6 and it’s a good start not just to be familiar to the characters itself but to know the ability inside Kojou or what to be done in his new found strength as the fourth primogenitor who can change the whole world in a snap of it. For a story this is a vampire thing ability most of the things we familiarize the super strength they had and the uncountable abilities that they can release, the interesting part is how to unlock the ability inside or how to tame it to control at your own. One good thing for sure is Kojou using it not for his own good but the good of everyone around.

For the fight scenes this is a great fight scene and the usage of the ability is a bit limited but throughout the battle mastery is the real thing to release all the strength of ability a great feat to see some summon and power to control it. Amazing to see a lot of fights inside 24 episodes and well explained for most important parts for a first time to see the anime is a good thing. The music choice suits well to the anime and is easy to attract because the music already tells the whole story starting point till the ending part. Music to remember and play anytime especially the second opening is a really pump up song to enjoy.

Strike the Blood deserves a good recommendation because of its good anime story choice to adapt and one of the popular light novel titles out there. For the story is a good one even if it's a fan service for most of the people but a good story is the thing that made me watch the whole season because of the great action scenes around. For the first timer who wants to watch a good action pack anime, this is a good choice if you’re a fan of vampire and fantasy settings. Anime or light novel? For me I start at anime because I saw a good synopsis of what to watch and a curiosity at the same time, nothing wrong to see if where you will start for a story light novel is a choice for it and it gave me a new light novel to read because of the story inside. Is the anime underrated title? For most who don’t want harem setting that’s was more I usually saw around because they are not used at the harem setting around one way or another but action battle is a good thing to see in the series. Is the story confusing because of a lot of terms and explanation? The truth is a bit confusing to start, but the explanation is a bit long. That's why you will be confused a lot of times but it's something to be thankful for to explain those at the right time is great. Strike the Blood is an action battle of a vampire and supernatural being around to protect what you think is right and using your ability in a correct way is a brave act at the same time.
