Ao no Exorcist

 

Ao no Exorcist is one of the great action fantasy series from 2011, an original manga story written and illustrated by Kazue Katou. Ao no Exorcist anime series is produced by A-1 Pictures and here’s some titles behind its studio like Sword Art Online, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Eromanga-sensei and Nanatsu no Taizai. Ao no Exorcist consists of 25 episodes, runs about 24 minutes per episode and aired from April 2011 till October 2011. Opening song “CORE PRIDE” performed by UVERworld, and “IN MY WORLD” performed by ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D. Ending song “Take off” performed by 2PM, and “Wired Life” is performed by Meisa Kuroki. Ao no Exorcist anime series is directed by Tensai Okamura.

Assiah and Gehenna are two different sides of the world also known as human and demon. To travel between the realms by means it requires a possession like in ghost stories. Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, can’t find a suitable host to possess and remains imprisoned in his world. Because of his desperation, he sends his son instead to conquer Assiah. For the son eventually grows into a suitable vessel and possession to become a demon king.

Rin Okumuraa troublesome teenager who appears to be an ordinary human, until one day his life is changed when he is ambushed by demons. Rin world has changed as he discovers that he is in fact the very son of Satan, and his demon father calls him to return home. The reason given to Rin is to conquer Assiah with the demon king. Rin refused the demon king's invitation and decided to train to become an exorcist. Rin wants to protect Assiah because it's his home and he wants to fight beside his brother Yukio.

Ao no Exorcist story focuses on the Assiah and Gehenna or Assiah the world of humans and Gehenna the world of demons. Satan the demon king of Gehenna finds a way to enter a different realm, as he can’t find a suitable host to possess and decides to send his son to the Assiah world. Rin Okumura, a troublesome teenage boy is ambushed by demons. Rin’s life changed from ordinary life as he discovers his own true being, a son of demon king, and the demon king wants Rin to return so that they can conquer the whole Assiah world together. Rin declined the offer as he decided to train to become an exorcist to fight alongside his brother Yukio and protect Assiah from the demon king.

Ao no Exorcist anime series is produced by A-1Pictures and did a great job for its anime adaptation and good battle scenes. For the story it's almost the same as the source story manga following the Okumura brothers Rin and Yukio as they defend Assiah world from the demon king. Character suit for the story as the brothers not just to protect but continue to train to improve the skills to exorcist, aside from the training part is the battle scenes where anything happens with one explanation to another. The song choice for the series is one of the most played because of its rhythm strong sound indication that this is a battle series of good against evil. Opening song is the most popular from this anime because it was performed by a well-known band by just hearing it can feel the energy before the story starts, and ending song is mellow song but also good to listen as how the story line move and can feel more not just the song itself but the story instore.

Ao no Exorcist deserves a good anime recommendation in terms of great battle scenes but also a story to protect what you really feel. Anime or manga? The anime series is a good start for those who don’t know or are not familiar with its manga series. Anime series a great introduction of its story why Rin is in Assiah in first place and so much more things happening. The manga story is also good for those who can’t wait for what happens next or is some question left behind after the series is done. Watching or reading or just doing both makes it more comfortable as we follow the Okumura brothers and challenges they will face from one to another. Is Ao no Exorcist an overrated anime series? Nope, not at all, in terms of story it's a great start and as the story goes it some stored a good story twist complex which is a good thing, for the battle scenes this is one of the best from 2011 to enjoy. To score the whole series is around good, to look for a good story with some battle fight scenes this is one of them, a fluid great effect for every battle to remember some of them, a full action for this season. Ao no Exorcist anime series is a fight of humans as they defend the world they have and against demons that want to conquer it by using any methods to win the Assiah world.
