Eromanga-sensei



Eromanga-sensei or Eromanga Sensei in English title, one of the anime series from 2017. Eromanga-sensei is an original light novel story written by Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrated by Hiro Kanzaki. Anime series of Eromanga-sensei is produced by “A-1 Pictures” and here’s some popular titles behind its studio like Sword Art Online, Ao no Exorcist, Nanatsu no Taizai and Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. Eromanga-sensei consists of 12 episodes, runs around 23 minutes per episode and aired from April 2017 till June 2017. Opening song “Hitorigoto” performed by ClariS. Ending song “adrenaline!!!” performed by TrySail, and “Natsu-iro Koi Hanabi” performed by Fujita Akane. The Eromanga-sensei anime series is directed by Ryohei Takeshita.

Sagiri Izumi became a step-sibling of Masamune Izumi a year ago. One day a sudden death of their parents changes a lot of things inside the family. Sagiri became shut in person away from his brother and the society. Masamune works as a light novel author while studying to earn a living for his family. As a writer and author, he’s only wish is to meet his illustrator, Eromanga-sensei.

Eromanga-sensei is a famous illustrator for lewd or erotic images for the light novel of Masamune. The only thing Masamune didn’t know is the real identity of Eromanga-sensei. The real identity of Eromanga-sensei is Sagiri, his little sister. Through a lot of embarrassing events, Masamune learns that his little sister was his illustrator for the whole time. Masamune and Sagiri must face new challenges together, not just to be successful in the light novel industry but also to fix their almost broken family relationship.

Eromanga-sensei is a story of step siblings who left behind because of a sudden death of their parents. Masamune Izumi as the eldest in the family, he must take care of his only sister Sagiri Izumi. The death of their parents is a big impact for Sagiri and changes her character to be shut-in, Masamune works as a light novel author to earn a living for the two of them. Masamune's little sister Sagiri's real identity is Eromanga-sensei, his illustrator for his light novel story. The story of Eromanga-sensei has an interesting start for the twist of turn events and daily challenges for Masamune not just the elder brother of Sagiri but also his role to protect her little sister and the success of his light novel for their living needs. 

The Eromanga-sensei anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures did a good job for the whole series, delivering an interesting light novel story. In terms of anime quality of the whole series, it was good to watch for a well-made animation and stayed on the whole story of the light novel and a bit of adjustment to bring the story more interesting at the same time. For the music choice it’s one of the cool things to hear for the opening song Hitorigoto is amazing to listen to because of a great performance of ClariS, and for the ending song a bit drama touch suits the main cast or the Izumi siblings.

Eromanga-sensei deserves a good anime recommendation in terms of a good story quality and to the fans of siscon (sister complex) this anime series is for you. Anime or light novel? I started watching the title because of the anime adaptation announcement and it has a very good synopsis factor for me, for how the story moves for the Izumi siblings change a lot after the death of their parents. The anime series is good, for the light novel story is also good to read not just to continue the series or the next thing or events to happen to Izumi siblings but also to know more for the other characters around them not just a support cast but also how the character development for Masamune but also to her little sister Sagiri change is one of the things to follow and to read the light novel story. Is Eromanga-sensei an underrated anime series? Yes, it is a bit underrated, one of the reasons is that this is a siscon anime series and for some don’t like it at all but one thing to remember is that Masamune and Sagiri are not blood related from the start of the story. One more thing for sure is another ecchi anime series I think for some people starts to become tired at some point but for this level is good and passes for general viewing. Is the Eromanga-sensei story a bit familiar? If you are familiar with Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai series, it is also made by the same author by Tsukasa Fushimi works. Eromanga-sensei anime series is a good anime series to watch a comedy and drama at the same time with a bit of romance as the story goes on and if you enjoy the Ore no Imouto series this is for you.
