Mirain Nikki or The Future Diary in English title, an original manga story written and illustrated by Sakae Esuno. Mirai Nikki anime series is produced by Asread and here’s some popular titles behind its studio like Shuffle!, Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou, Ga-Rei: Zero and Minami-ke Okawari. Mirai Nikki consists of 26 episodes, runs about 23 minutes per episode and aired from October 2011 till April 2012. Yukiteru Amano, a lonely high school student spends most of his time and days by writing a diary on his cellphone while conversing with imaginary friend’s name Deus Ex Machina, a god of time and space and Murmur servant of god. After revealing himself, Deus grants Yukiteru a “Random Diary” which shows a descriptive entry that is based on the future. Yukiteru is forced into a bloody battle with eleven other future diary holders. The only way to survive is to find the other 11 future diary holders and kill all of them.

The battle starts as the other 11 future diary holders are also holding unmeasurable powerful different kinds of diary. As Yukiteru starts his search, he reluctantly teams up with Yuno Gasai, a future diary holder and to make it worse Yuno herself is also a stalker of Yukiteru. Yuno herself made a promise to ensure the safety of Yukiteru, as Yuno starts to make a drastic plan to survive she also has other plans for her unrequited love for Yukiteru.

Mirai Nikki's story focuses on Yukiteru Amano, a lonely high school student that spends most of his time and days by writing a diary on his cellular phone. Mirai Nikki anime series is produced by Asread and did a good job in its adaptation from a manga story. Animation of the whole series is a great smooth sail of the main story, the character design is good for its fluid expression, especially the mood and looks of Yuno Gasai, a real yandere. The music choice is great from start till the end opening songs is easy to remember it feels the excitement and thrill of the whole story it showcases that future diary is something and needs to deal not just to survive but to fight for your life, and ending song something, you don’t forget or things you regret after something happen that it’s hard to swallow to the end.

Mirai Nikki anime series deserves a good anime recommendation, in terms of story this is one of a kind different setting where your diary becomes your future. Anime or manga? First of all, I started to learn the title series from its anime adaptation and it turns out a great story where every episode is hard to miss and every future can prevent it from happening. After being done in the series it's great to watch but also hard to resist not to read the manga series as something needs to clarify or just want to know more in what happens to other characters or how they found out the other future diary holders. The anime series is great to watch but reading the manga after the series is also good but reading first before watching to most people to know the story first hand and if it's really a good anime adaptation. Is Mirai Nikki an underrated anime series? Nope, not at all in terms of story, this is a good story because of the different element setting, for the animation it’s great to watch because every episode is a must to watch to know more the whole story and to answer the questions left behind from previous episodes. While watching you also learn the different types of future diary and it can change depending on how they will plan to do in future or plan ahead something as a viewer you also think at the same time. Mirai Nikki anime series is one of the must-see anime series and interesting anime plot to watch and to enjoy and easy to recommend if you want a thriller and psychological genre this anime is for you to watch.
