Ryuuko Matoi has been wandering the land in search of a killer who murdered her father and not knowing any reasons. The only lead that Ryuuko only has is the missing half of her father's invention the Scissor Blade, as Ryuuko starts her search and she arrives at Honnouji Academy. The Honnouji Academy is not your ordinary high school, as the academy impose strict rules and a cold-hearted student council that is led by student council president Satsuki Kiryuuin. The student council president with her Elite Four impose the strict rules, to impose the rules to all the students Satsuki and her Elite Four wears top special clothes called “Goku Uniforms” that grants them superhuman abilities.

After Ryuuko is beaten in a fight against one of the students who wears a Goku Uniform, she retreats to her home where she stumbles across Senketsu, a rare “Kamui” or God Clothes. Senketsu awakes as it receives blood from Ryuuko, latching onto Ryuuko’s body and providing an immense power. As Ryuuko is now armed not just the Scissor Blade but also Senketsu, as she makes a stand against the Elite Four and Satsuki as Ryuuko hopes to uncover the culprit behind her father’s murderer.

KILL la KILL story focuses on Ryuuko Matoi, as her father is been killed and her only clue is the half of Scissor Blade, to find the one who murder her father, she looks for a land and continue her search as she arrived at Honnouji Academy. Ryuuko starts to look inside the school academy as she might find some clues to her father’s murderer. One problem arises as she finds the school is not an ordinary school where the whole academy is ruled by a cold-hearted student council president Satsuki Kiryuuin alongside her powerful Elite Four to impose the rules. As Ryuuko starts to fight against one of the students, she retreats because of the students' uniform called Goku Uniform which grants the wearer a superhuman ability. Ryuuko returns home as she found Senketsu a Kamui or God Clothe and formed a contract with Ryuuko as her blood came to Senketsu. Ryuuko returns to the Honnouji Academy to win a fight as she looks for a clue to her father’s murderer.

KILL la KILL anime series is produced by Trigger and did a great job for the animation and an original anime story. For the anime characters they created a unique touch for its design is something you don’t see often but easy to remember because of each own characteristic. The animation is something familiar but a different type of battle scenes where clothes is the main weapon, they use it in battle not just to gain a superhuman strength but also protects them for every battle they encounter. For the music choice it's one of the interesting songs lists for what I heard in this anime series opening songs is a great start an introduction that you want to listen before going on the main story Sirius by Eir Aoi and ambiguous by GARNiDELiA each opening song makes you want to watch the whole anime series, and ending song a good choice a background of the main character it’s a good one where it also choice the other side of the main cast.

KILL la KILL anime series deserves a great anime recommendation in terms of original anime story and different type of anime artwork design where make more things interesting at the same time. How good is an original anime story? For KILL la KILL is so great that it is a bit hard to describe it at first, after watching the whole series a very interesting way of anime not just your normal power up but also a good explanation for things happening around is the key point for everything. The story pace is good which makes it easier to understand for the things happening in the whole story, a good character development at the same time where things make interesting and more exciting for what will happen next or how strong really is the enemy and the real reason why it is happening in the first place. Is KILL la KILL an overrated anime series? Nope, not at all in terms of rating this is one of the things that you will enjoy to watch from start till the end as the story goes it’s one of a kind interesting story, the character art and animation is great to watch for its great battle scenes where unique things happening in the whole series.  KILL la KILL anime series a great battle anime series where clothes is your weapon in every battle where things become more exciting for every episode is worth to watch. One of the things makes the KILL la KILL anime series a must to watch anime not because of the original story but also not your usual anime art design where everything is a full pack to enjoy.
