Tazusa Sakurano is a high school student and also a figure skater at the same time, and her goal is to be the representative of Japan for the Olympics. As a top contender, Tazusa has a big chance to participate in a single competition in Canada. One day on her program, she falls and hits her head on the ice and falls unconscious, at the same time Pete Pumps a Canadian stunt pilot goes down in a fiery blaze accident. After the unforeseen accident and devastating failure for Tazusa returns to Japan and starts to hear a voice in her head.

Pete arrived at the gates of heavens, instead of getting a pass in heaven’s gate Pete is denied entry because of his sins and he was told to wait for 100 days. Now Pete is trapped inside of Tazusa’s body and Tazusa herself unwilling to interrupt someone even if it is inside of her body. Tazusa starts to move forward with skating, even when she hears Pete voice inside her mind, the only thing she wants is to achieve her dream to be a representative of her country in the Olympics and win.

Ginban Kaleidoscope story focuses on Tazusa Sakurano, a figure skater with a dream to be part of the Olympics and at the same time to win. As a top contender Tazusa competed in a single competition in Canada however an accident happened when she fell and hit her head on the ice and knocked her consciousness. At the same time a Canadian stunt pilot Pete Pumps goes down in a fiery blaze accident. Pete died after the crash of his plane and while he came to heaven he's been not allowed to enter the gate and ask to wait for 100 days before coming back. Pete falls down into Tazusa's unconscious body and is trapped inside Tazusa at the same time.

The Ginban Kaleidoscope anime series is produced by Karaku studio and did a good job for its light novel adaptation. The anime series sticks to the main story characters Tazusa and Pete when they meet in unexpected ways and unforeseen things happen at the same time. Character style is easy to identify for its attitude and nature. One of the amazing things is that the skate performance to enjoy even its anime is well made to enjoy watching every performance. The music choice is good and simple as it showcases that this is a figure skating anime series that you will enjoy, for the opening song an upbeat and timely listen and for the ending song a bit sad and happy at the same time and hard to skip these songs as I watch the series.

Ginban Kaleidoscope deserves a good anime recommendation in terms of sports and drama; this is one to watch and enjoy every moment given and enjoy to the fullest. Anime or light novel? Anime series is good to watch even if it only has 12 episodes for the whole series at a bit of a fast pace and at the same time a really good story to enjoy and character developments most especially to Tazusa is one big thing for the whole story that anyone can see in its series. The light novel story and easy pace for everything is something I want to read more into it. A bit of character development is good not just for the story but also for the other characters around a change or pace is something that a light novel can provide and much more details or a bit more background to the main cast. For my personal experience the anime is great to watch because it’s easy to finish the story in 12 episodes, but as I ended the anime series there’s a bit of craving to know more the main characters and decides to read things afterwards and well reward for the result for doing it. Is Ginban Kaleidoscope an underrated anime series? Nope, not at all in terms of a fast pace romance story this is one thing to watch and a bit of drama at the same time, one thing to enjoy is the skate performance and a bit background about ice skating is fun to learn things at the same time. While watching the series I felt how enjoyable it was to watch figure skating and how difficult training they undergo to perfect a one-time performance and to qualify to a tournament, this is one of the things I really enjoyed in this series. Ginban Kaleidoscope a good anime that is not just about romance and drama but a skate figure who want to reach her goal and the long process how it takes to be qualified in Olympics is something people will wonder at the same time, a great educational anime series about figure skating which is also fun to watch a different kind of sports.
