Yamada is a real beautiful and perfect student, from everyone's view when they first saw Yamada a first-year high school. Yamada’s goal is a different from every student as she wants to achieve it before the end of high school is to have sex with one hundred men.  As Miharu Takeshita tries to put some sense into Yamada’s head and as her best friend Miharu points out her major flaw in her plan, and that’s Yamada’s completely no experience with men. Yamada’s reason is that her lady parts look strange and believes others will judge her for what she is, as a result Yamada decides as her first time must be a fellow virgin since she thinks it will not hurt or scare her.

Yamada starts to look for her first, an encounter sets her sight to Takashi Kosuda, a shy average guy and aspiring photographer. Yamada must look for a way on how she will seduce Takashi and take his cherry. As Yamada works her way, the rivals start to appear for Takeshi’s affection and go her way, and the so-called plan has a lot of failure. However, as Yamada’s starts to get closer to Takashi, she finds herself enjoying every time they are together.

B-gata H-kei story focuses on Yamada’s first encounter or on her target is to sex with one hundred men, a goal when she entered or started a first-year high school. To reach Yamada’s goal she must gain her first experience because she herself don’t know anything about opposite sex. As her best friend Miharu Takeshita tries to put some sense in her mind and point out the major flaw, Yamada decides to also look for a fellow virgin since it will not hurt or scare her. As Yamada’s choice is one of their classmates Takashi Kosuda, a shy average guy who inspires to be a photographer.

B-gata H-kei anime series is produced by Hal Film Maker and TYO Animations did a good job for its animation series. The character design is good and a lot of improvements from its original 4-koma manga but most of all the animation flow a bit different but stays on the main story line is how Yamada will get her first. A bit of a story flaw but it's more suited for a short anime series. The music choice is great for the opening, a bit of excitement flows like how Yamada works to reach her goal, and for the ending song a bit of emotion or change into the main cast character or Yamada’s development or starts to change. All the songs were performed by Yamada’s seiyuu Yukari Tamura, good voice and well suited to Yamada’s character.

B-gata H-kei deserves a good anime recommendation in terms of comedy type of story where Yamada is the one who makes a move a bit different from your usual genre where the guy will make a move first. Anime or 4-koma manga? First of all, I only know the anime series from anime adaptation, after watching the series, it's a different type where Yamada is the one who makes a move, not the guy and the fun factor at the same time. For the 4-koma manga a much better or should I say much satisfied after reading the whole manga story, one factor is that character development is good where the main cast did a great development and as the story goes the complex starts to fix one at a time. If I will choose the 4-koma is much better for its whole story, but if you just want to watch for a weekend fun is also good to watch the anime series. Is B-gata H-kei an underrated anime series? Yes, one of the reasons is the story flow, a bit slow for a 12-episode series and all of a sudden became a bit fast or they just modify a bit of story to be suited well for the anime series. For this change some readers who read it first felt left behind or just enjoyed the whole 4-koma story and didn't want to watch it, but for some it gained more readers because they felt the story became simpler and wanted to know what will happen next. B-gata H-kei anime series is a good romantic and great comedy to enjoy from start till end, Yamada’s quest for reaching her goal is to look forward to the whole series.
