Narumi Fujishima, a regular high school student at first but in reality, an outsider. One big reason is the constant transfer of school from time to time due to his father’s work. Transferring one school to another causes him to be an outsider and never become a part of society. One day Narumi meets her classmate Ayaka Shinozaki and forces him to join the gardening club. Narumi starts to encounter Alice, a genius hacker who lives in isolation above the ramen shop, where Ayaka works part-time.

Narumi discovers that Alice is running an agency. “NEET” also known as Not in Education, Employment or Training is a special private detective agency. Narumi joins the NEET due to his connection with a criminal case. Narumi starts to get entangled in a world of dangerous investigation by the group of detectives. While Narumi tracks down the crime syndicate, it seems they have a mysterious ties or connection to Alice.

Kamisama no Memochou's story focuses on Narumi Fujishima and his constant transfer of school because of his dad’s work and the genius private detective Alice. The first episode runs about 48 minutes, a great introduction for the whole anime series. Solving crime is detective work, Alice solving things without going out of her room is one of the greatest things in the series how she solves things accurately and on the spot hypothesis. The story is a bit familiar but the big difference is Alice uses technology to solve things around and with the help of Narumi it makes things easy for Alice.

Kamisama no Memochou anime series is produced by J.C.Staff did a good job for anime adaptation of the series from a light novel and accurate story and well explained facts and deduction is needed in mystery story to unravel the secret of the crime. The music choice is also great for the anime series; it reflects not just the story but also the main cast of Kamisama no Memochou that focus on Alice the genius private detective and her staff.

Kamisama no Memochou deserves a good anime recommendation in terms of people who enjoy detective stories full of mystery to solve crimes or explore things, this anime series is for you. Anime or light novel? First of all, I learned the title from the announcement of the anime adaptation, the anime series is good and hard to miss not to watch because the first episode is great not just for the introduction of the cast but also how Alice works is incredible for a hacker. The light novel or where the story came from is also a good thing to read if you are done watching the anime series and want to continue the story or to know more not just the cast but also the case or the problem of society that needs to be solved. Is Kamisama no Memochou an underrated anime series? Nope, not at all it has a fairly good rate in terms of story quality, its great and interesting, the animation and music which is also good a balance of action and mind thinking for the whole anime series. Kamisama no Memochou is a good anime to watch and enjoy for the people who look for mystery and problem solver and a bit of education because of great hypotheses for every crime solved at no time.
