Aa! Megami-sama!

Aa! Megami-sama! or Oh! My Goddess in English title and for some they called it Ah! My Goddess, the story came from a manga written and illustrated by Kousuke Fujishima. OVA series of Aa! Megami-sama! is produced by AIC and here’s some popular titles behind its studio like Special A, Amagami SS, Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku and Tenchi Muyou!. Aa! Megami-sama! consists of 5 episodes, runs about 30 minutes per episode and aired from February 1993 till May 1994. Opening song “My Heart Iidasenai, Your Heart Tashikametai '' is performed by Goddess Family Club. Ending song “Congratulations!” is performed by Goddess Family Club. Aa! Megami-sama! OVA is directed by Hiroaki Gouda.

One day Keiichi Morisato, a college student dials a wrong number to order for some food at his dormitory, his call connected to the Goddess Hotline. The beautiful goddess suddenly appears out of a mirror in front of Keiichi. Belldandy the name of the beautiful goddess who appeared in front of Keiichi. The lovely beautiful goddess Belldandy informs Keiichi he has one wish, a wish anything in this world. Keiichi disbelief in the things he saw and it might be his dorm mates’ gang up on him and made fun of him, Keiichi wishes Belldandy to stay with him always.

Keiichi's wish has been granted, something he didn’t see because he thought it’s just a joke from his senpai’s in the dorm but his wish was accepted by the Goddess Hotline. When his dorm mates returned, Keiichi was immediately kicked out of the dorm with Belldandy because of the rule man only dormitory. Keiichi decides to look for a place to stay with Belldandy, they move to the old shrine and soon afterwards Belldandy’s sisters Urd and Skuld come and move in.

Aa! Megami-sama! a story of Keiichi Morisato, a normal college student who just wanted to order some food but accidentally entered a wrong number and answered by Goddess Hotline, informed him that he has been given a wish for anything he wants. Belldandy a goddess appears from a mirror after the call and asking Keiichi for a wish, Keiichi thought it’s a joke from his dorm mates but it's not at all after he made a wish to Belldany to stay with him always. Keiichi was kicked out with Belldandy and one of the reasons is that the dorm is exclusive for men only. A fated story of an ordinary human meets a beautiful goddess.

Aa! Megami-sama! OVA is produced by AIC and did a good job for its series. The smooth pace story is good and memorable to watch even if it's only 5 episodes but a lot of things happened in the whole OVA series and still a good entertainment. For the music choice both opening and ending song performed by Goddess Family Club and the people behind the club it’s the seiyuu of the goddesses itself performing both songs. Songs to remember and to listen not just to relax but also to feel how good the whole OAV series is to watch from the start till the end.

Aa! Megami-sama! OVA deserves a great anime recommendation, a short story to enjoy a bit of drama and romance that will touch your inner feeling inside (sorry for that). Anime or manga? First of all, I start to learn the title from anime or OVA series they have after done watching, I decide to read the manga series because of a good interesting story inside, one of the incredible romances to enjoy and a bit of attachment into it because of balance transition some parts can be bother but most of all that’s how story goes some can be annoying but at the same a reason why it’s part of the story. For this type of story from the early 90’s a lot of things to remember are how the story moves people's emotions from that time and how entertainment evolves from one time to another. Is Aa! Megami-sama! another underrated OVA series? Nope, not at all the rate or the feedback for the OVA series is fairly good and understanding, for some it’s like 5 episodes is not enough but for the story is good to watch and easy to understand things happening around and enjoyable for one sit you can finish all the episodes. Most OVA series can offer the main story flow and a bit of side story for better understanding of the whole story or the other characters involved. Aa! Megami-sama! a great OVA series to watch for this holiday or Christmas season, a good way to relax and enjoy an old OVA series in a good way for people who want to watch and a short series in one sit.
