Seiji Sawamura a high school student at Sakuradamon High who has a powerful right hand and also known as Seiji “The Mad Dog” Sawamura because of his powerful fist who can beat anyone in any street fight. Seiji's reputation is difficult for himself because it became more difficult to approach girls and after being rejected for twenty times straight. One day Seiji half joke vows to finish his high school with his right hand for a girlfriend and next morning something happened in his right hand.
A morning surprise for Seiji for his right hand suddenly changed into a miniature girl. Midori Kasugano the miniature girl in Seiji's right hand and Midori reveals to Seiji that she has been a crush on Seiji for the past three years. Seiji attempts to return Midori to normal but the situation is hard to explain to anyone after Seiji causes a big misunderstanding at Kasugano household. The two of them decide to keep the situation between them until they find the solution. For Midori it’s a chance to finally be with the person she loves and for Seiji a new start for a change.

Midori no Hibi a story about Midori who had a crush to Seiji for three years and counting, for Seiji is a big surprise for someone like him who is famous for beating up people around and he tried his best to get a girlfriend but nothing happened and it turns out 20 rejection from different girls around. A common love story but with a good twist, for Midori her wish came true and for Seiji his half joke wish becomes a reality. Unexpected turn of events can start a big change of personality.

Midori no Hibi animation is a good season series and selected the most important parts of the whole manga story. Studio Pierrot did a good job to transform the whole manga series into anime and in terms of the anime story it’s a bit short but tackled most important parts of the main character Seiji and Midori. The music selection for the series is also good, the opening song suits well for the main characters especially Midori, her wish to be with the person she really loves and the ending song a bit sad and because of love Midori starts to change her personality to face her fear one at a time.

Midori no Hibi deserves a good recommendation in terms of the story flow, a bit fast because of the 13-episode series and easy to understand because they focus most of the story involving the two main characters Midori and Seiji. Anime or manga? First of all I watch the anime series which is a good love story to begin with something you don’t see often and the anime series is great at all because there’s no waste of time and tells the whole story and decides to read the whole manga series after done in the anime series. The manga series is good with a total of 86 chapters and can read everything for the whole weekend, one reason why I read it is the story is interesting and a fascinating love story that I really enjoy till the end. Is the anime series underrated? Nope, not at all it’s fair rate for some and one of the reasons is a bit of fast pace of the whole story and 13 episodes is a bit short for this kind of story I think 24 episode will do after done reading the whole manga, but feel a bit stretch for the whole story that can be lost of the whole pace when it happen. Midori no Hibi anime series to enjoy because of the interesting love story and a bit of comedy drama to see the feelings of Midori and Seiji.
