Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai or also known as The World God Only Knows in English title or Kaminomi for short and a manga series created by Tamiki Wakaki. Anime adaptation of Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai is produced by Manglobe and here’s some popular titles under Manglobe studio like Deadman Wonderland, Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy and Gansta. Keima Katsuragi or also known as the “God of Conquest” on online world because he can conquer any girl’s heart in dating sim games. In reality Keima only sees the two-dimensional gaming world over real life because he is an otaku who is obsessed with galge games. Gal game or galge for short a type of game where attractive girls are at the center of the story or also known as a dating simulator for some. One day when Keima is done updating his blog for a finished galge, he receives an anonymous mail challenge for a girl conquest.

Keima accepts the anonymous challenge not just to prove his supremacy in galge but to show who is the God of Conquest. A misled letter is not just an ordinary challenge but it turns out it’s a contract from hell and all of a sudden, a demon appears in front of Keima and her name is Elucia de Lute Ima or Elsie for short. Elsie’s mission in the human world is to retrieve the runaway souls that escaped hell that scattered around the human world. Keima discovers the only way to capture the runaway souls is to conquer them by interacting with the three-dimensional girls who he hates most because of the unpredictable heart of girls. Keima and his title of God of Conquest is put on the ultimate test as he forces his way to the heart of a real girl and failure of contract will result in the termination or end of his life. 

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai is not your ordinary harem story to capture the girls around but to conquer and free them from the escaped souls who enter their body. Keima mission is not his ordinary conquest of his usual two-dimension galge but a three-dimensional or a real girl who he hates most. Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai story moves around Keima who is the capturing god and Elsie a demon from hell will serve as a guide for Keima for the girl's conquest to free them from the escaped soul. For this kind of story is entertaining because it’s not your usual romantic comedy but also a harem with a mission that needs to be done because not just Keima’s life but also Elsie’s life is at stake. 

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai anime quality is good not just to tell the story but the smooth transition of the anime character feels more alive in the series and Manglobe did a great job for the anime series. The story is the same as the manga and a bit of modification to suit well for the series played well. The music choice for Kaminomi suits well for the opening of God only knows Daisanmaku a good introduction for the series not just for music but also a bit of story of capturing god Keima at work. The ending song of Koi no Shirushi is performed by most of the characters of the seiyuu for some episodes where the character story part is cool just like a character reflection at the same time. 

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai deserves a great recommendation because of not your ordinary harem story to see with a romantic and comedy at the same time. The story itself is the top of it because it’s good enough to entertain with the balance of comedy and some serious parts and a bit of story or reflection to remember for character differences that change as soon as the capturing god is done and character development at the same time. Anime or manga? I learned the title through the anime series adaptation and watch them weekly because it's an interesting synopsis and decides to read the manga afterwards the series is done to continue the story and know what happened next or what conquest to be done. Is the anime series underrated? Nope, not at all the rate seems to be good because the story itself is the entertainment from the start and for some who also played a galge something to look for and the character designs is good at the same time. Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai a great anime series from a manga story where harem is on another level and becomes a mission not just to capture but to save a girl from a danger of an escaped soul is something you can’t ignore at all and Keima is the man on the mission.
