Bakemonogatari one of the best anime series came from 2009 because of great story that everyone can enjoy. Bakemonogatari is from the first season of the Monogatari Series light novel created and written by ISIN NISIO. Bakemonogatari had 15 episodes, consist of 24 minutes per episode and aired from July 2009 till June 2010. The first 12 episodes aired from July till September 2009 and the last 3 episodes were released at anime websites from November 2009 till June 2010. Bakemonogatari anime adaptation is produced by Shaft who also produce some anime titles like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Nisekoi, Arakawa Under the Bridge and ef: A Tale of Melodies. Opening song “staple stable” performed by Chiwa Saito, “Kaerimichi” performed by Emiri Katou, “ambivalent world” performed by Miyuki Sawashiro, “Ren’ai Circulation” performed by Kana Hanazawa and “Sugar Sweet Nightmare” performed by Yui Horie. The ending song “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari” by supercell and performed by nagi (Gazelle). Bakemonogatari anime series directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and Tatsuya Oishi.
Koyomi Araragi is a third-year student who looks ordinary on the outside but manages to survive a vampire attack with the help of Meme Oshino, a strange man who resides in an abandoned building. Koyomi is saved from becoming a vampire from one summer and returns as a human being but with several side effects remains inside of him and one of them is the supernatural healing ability and enhanced vision. Koyomi lives a normal high school life with the help of his friend and class president Tsubasa Hanekawa.
One day a fellow classmate of Koyomi falls down the stairs saves her and Koyomi realizes one thing different is that the classmate he saves doesn’t have any weight at all. Hitagi Senjougahara, the fallen girl that Koyomi saved, protests why he’d try to catch her, despite the things happening Koyomi insists to Hitagi that he will help to resolve her problem with the assistance of Meme Oshino. This is one of the parts of the Bakemonogatari series where Koyomi attempts to help those who suffer from supernatural it can be an unexplained disease or curse from a god or demon.
Bakemonogatari's story consists of different arcs where Koyomi encounters different people who suffer a different problem from one to another and tries to rescue or resolve it by helping them to uplift the supernatural problem they had. The story set is well created and explains everything the cause of the curse of the unexplained disease and why it happened from the start and how to remove them. A conflict starts but an interesting part of the whole story is why they are experiencing it is like every action or motive can create a disaster or curse someone who had a value or payment in return.
Bakemonogatari animation is greatly done and Shaft did a great job in this anime series. Almost exactly as the light novel itself, the starting point and explanation part delivered it well to understand every part of the story and the battle scene is good and smooth, a great entertainment for the whole series. The music change for one arc to another and it's cool every opening song is related to the certain arc which is good not just indicated that this is a new arc but also a little background of the certain character and the great thing for the opening songs mostly performed by the seiyuu of the character of the arc. The ending part is great and mostly all about the whole series of Bakemonogatari and looking forward to the next episode while listening to the whole ending music by supercell and performed by nagi (Gazelle) is amazing to remember the whole series all over again.
Bakemonogatari deserves a great anime recommendation as the whole series for the interesting story and great animation delivery to entertain everyone who likes a supernatural genre. The different arcs tell not just a different character but also a different feeling for the whole series not just the usual introduction but someone needs help but it's hard to find a person that can help them in their own problem that is hard to explain to a normal person. Anime or light novel? I start watching the whole anime series but also decide to read the light novel series because the story is greatly interesting for me not just who enjoys a supernatural genre to read but to learn more the different characters around Koyomi why he help them and there’s no real reason at all behind but is like a part of his character to lend his hand to those who need it most. Is Bakemonogatari an over rated series? Nope, not at all in terms what I watch and looking at different things or genre around mostly it's well recommended because of the story and the fun factor at the same time, the character of Koyomi itself is the fun factor from the start something you don’t expect will done something great around and the rating is speaks itself for the job well done in the whole series. Bakemonogatari is great anime from start to end of the whole series, a real entertainment to watch and smooth animation is like what you read is what you see, a bit hard to see in the anime adaptation series and most of all the story itself is the real deal for this anime to enjoy.
