High School DxD

High School DxD is not your ordinary anime to watch anywhere. Where harem brings happiness and a great smile to the love of fan service. High School DxD is an original light novel story written by Ichiei Ishibumi. High School DxD's story is about the perspective view character of Issei Hyoudou, an ordinary high school lecherous guy in the school and decides to study in that school that becomes a co-ed because of a lot of beauties around. TNK studio produced High School DxD animation. Opening song “Trip -innoncent of D-“ performed by Larval Stage Planning. Ending “STUDY x STUDY'' performed by StylipS. 

Issei Hyoudou is a normal high school student and lecherous at the same time who is always doing peeping on women at school and dreaming of harem on his own. One afternoon after class Issei encounters a beautiful high school student who he didn’t know at all and asks him to become his girlfriend Yuuma Amano. Issei asks Yuuma for a date and almost done on a date Yuuma reveals who she really is in front of Issei and asks him to die for her. Issei is killed on the spot after Yuuma transforms to her real form a “fallen angel” and hits him with one strike of lightning. Issei wishes that he could live a new life and look far away in sight of a beautiful senior at school named Rias Gremory.

High School DxD (light novel)

Issei lives for a new life and what happened to himself is hard to explain at all. A major change not just on physical and also his lifestyle starts to change, not just a normal human being but a devil. He discovered the change one at a time how he can see clearly at night, how he sleeps late night and feels more energy when night starts, how he feels like the sun burns him when in the morning and wants to sleep more, how he can use a different language even if he didn’t study at all. 

Rias reveals it to him after Issei encounters another fallen angel who wants to kill him again. A confusing issue for Issei who doesn't want to deal with complicated things but accepts his new identity because he lives another life that he doesn’t want to waste and valued it more as days passed by because his life is almost infinite or immortal because he is a devil. Rias invites Issei to be a part of Occult Research Club at school for a cover of the devil business, but also to be familiar with how the devil works in the human world.

High School DxD story based on light novel series, in terms of adaptation for anime it's well done and based on the light novel and seeing it in action is cool and awesome at all. One of the differences is the artwork of the anime and how the illustration goes into it, the animation is more on the serious side and produces a good quality of it a bit far for some illustration on the light novel. That’s the only difference but above all the action battle is a smooth one for this no waste movement and mostly what you read is what you see, a wish of most readers when they see anime adaptation of the light novel or manga, they read. 

The best highlight is the fan service of the High School DxD. Well most of the people watch it. They are looking forward to it to see Rias and the rest of the girl group interact with Issei. Harem is the talk for it but to be honest for me, enjoy the story even if you will see a lot of different power up to become the strongest devil what Issei wants but also the story of each member of Occult Research Club. For a light novel reader the story is amusing and fun but knowing the backstory of each character you will see how they cope up to it and this is one of the strength of the story, I think I almost gone far away for the story itself but it’s fun to read something romantic and comedy at the same time even its harem.

 High School DxD deserves a recommendation for the package of harem but it turns out for me a romantic comedy with some ecchi parts but the target audience is obvious on this one. Is the anime a good way to start the story of High School DxD? I think there's no big difference in the light novel itself but if you can’t wait what happens next you will read it if you enjoy the whole story. A school life with a twist is something common for other aspects but this one a bit stands out for the harem sign. High School DxD anime is fun to watch, the battle is decent to enjoy and some confusing terminology because they are on the devil side but I don’t really see how devil they are but a fair thing to know how the story unfolds.
