Accel World a burst link to the future. One of the creative ideas of light novel series under Reki Kawahara a famous writer who also created SAO or Sword Art Online. Reki Kawahara got not just one but two anime adaptations for the year 2012. Accel World animation adapted by Sunrise is a famous production for creating a lot of Gundam series and here’s some famous titles under their production like Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop and InuYasha. Opening song “Chase the World'' performed by May’n and “Burst The Gravity” performed by ALTIMA. Ending song "→unfinished→" performed by KOTOKO and ‘Unite'' performed by Sahika Misawa. Accel World is directed by Masakazu Obara.

Haruyuki Arita is a middle school student bullied most of the time because of his heavyweight body look he got and most of his life only focuses on online games where he can only find peace. But one day his life changes when he finds his top high score on one game has been topped by Kuroyukihime. Kuroyukihime, a popular student council vice president, invites Haruyuki for at the student lounge and introduces to him an application called “Brain Burst”. 

Brain Burst is a program which allows the user to accelerate the brain waves to the point where it seems everything stops around the user. Brain Burst also functions as an augmented fighting game where to gain some points to use for accelerating where users must win a duel against another player to win a point, when a user loses all the points, they will also lose the access to Brain Burst. Kuroyukihime explains everything to Haruyuki and he saw something that Haruyuki is qualified for Brain Burst, where Kuroyukihime also asks Haruyuki for a help to defeat the “Six King of Pure Color” a powerful faction leader in the game and to reach the highest level 10 to attain it Kuroyukihime must win against the Six King Pure Color. One of the reasons why Kuroyukihime wants to defeat the Six Pure Color is to meet the creator of the Brain Burst and to uncover the reason why it’s created in the first place. Haruyuki accepts it not just to overcome the bullies in his life and realize the goal of Kuroyukihime who saves him from the bullies around and starts a change for his life.

Accel World (22 book series)

Accel World is a sci-fi setting where the future is beyond and you can pause the time and accelerate on your own. It can be a time stop but it's a different thing where you play a game for an hour in real time but using the Brain Burst is like you only spend a minute or two on the outside world. Amazing game indeed where we can play a lot of time and only eats a few minutes on outside world, a place for a gamer to enjoy everything, in this setting story it’s well explained throughout the whole series of Accel World and while watching it is like when this will happen in the next few years or more. Sorry about that sarcasm and wish like me who wants to use that kind of game to finish it without being interrupted. 

Accel World for the music and animation is great indeed and Sunrise experience in the advanced technology or future time and some mobile suit future technology setting is on top of it. Music choice is also a great choice. I listen to them from start to finish of every episode and easily acknowledge the songs and suits well for the series. For the animation of Accel World I saw the advantage of Sunrise for doing the anime adaptation, a smooth scale movement and cool battle fight scenes to enjoy and every battle counts to enjoy and most of them a great fact to remember and balance into it by sticking for the whole story on light novel.

The Accel World series deserves a good recommendation for a sci-fi story and loves the work of Reki Kawahara. This anime is for you. A balance of battle and story where you can enjoy it, a dream future that you also want to happen or to have it on our technology. Accel World is a game with a great action to enjoy and a bit of school romance mixed into it. Is this a good anime? Well it is a good anime for me. Light novel first or the anime? Start where you really like. I learned the title in anime but I read the light novel afterwards because the story is really good and I enjoy it. Why on some sites the anime is underrated? To be honest I really don’t know but the only reason I can see because Sword Art Online is release by the same year but only a few months later on and I think the character of Haruyuki is a bit of confusing I know because of the outside look he got but if you look at the story he is the top on the world of game where you can see his guts and trains hard to improve the skills to win for every fight he face. Accel World is a good anime to enjoy if you are looking for a future setting arrangement and good story.
